A New Year’s Eve Celebration of the Arts

First Night is a major visual performing arts festival created by and for the community to welcome the New Year.

Akron is a New Year’s Eve celebration unlike any other! The family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration brings the community together to experience a brief moment in time while creating lasting New Year’s Eve memories. Entertainment and fun will delight the whole family!

Buttons are only $10. Children under 10 are admitted free when accompanied by a button-wearing adult.

Volunteer at First Night!
Have we got a volunteer experience for you! You can choose to be an emcee, bus tour guide, or be the first to greet guests and wish them a happy New Year! Volunteer applications will go out in early November. Call 330-762-8555 to be put on the volunteer mailing list.

Deadline for Volunteer Applications is Dec. 5, 2008.
