Love is in the air at First Night Akron 2013 with Mass Wedding and Renewal Ceremony
Register by Wednesday Dec. 19 for a chance to win a set of wedding bands from C.L. Davis Jewelers
Downtown Akron Partnership (DAP) invites you to ring in the new year with the magic and romance of First Night Akron’s Wedding and Renewal Ceremony. Whether you're marrying for the first time or renewing your vows, this ceremony is sure to spread the love to all those attending.
The wedding will take place on the grand staircase of the elegant Akron Civic Theatre at 9 p.m. Couples marrying for the first time are eligible to win a prize package valued at more than $2,000. One couple will receive white gold companion wedding bands designed and custom made by C.L. Davis Jewelers, plus overnight accommodations from the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Downtown Akron. Only couples with an unendorsed Ohio marriage license are eligible. The drawing will be held at C.L. Davis Jewelers in The Shoppes at Akron Centre (76 S. Main St.) on Friday, Dec. 21 at 6 p.m. Registered couples meeting all pre-disclosed requirements and Ohio marriage laws must check-in at C.L. Davis Jewelers between 5:30
and 6 p.m. that day. Each couple will receive a raffle ticket with the drawing shortly after 6 p.m. The winning couple will be sized for their bands ensuring a perfect fit for the ceremony on New Year’s Eve.
The first 50 couples to register - renewals and first timers - will receive a Crystal Tresor Paris Bracelet also provided
by C.L. Davis Jewelers.

All registered couples must purchase First Night admission buttons to participate. Couples are required to check in at C.L. Davis Jewelers between 6-7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31 and will receive their Tresor Paris Crystal Bracelet at that time. There are no exceptions.
About First Night Akron and Button Sales
Now in its 17th year, First Night Akron is a New Year's Eve celebration unlike any other. This family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration of the arts brings the community together to experience a diverse display of music, dance, theater and visual and interactive arts throughout Downtown Akron on Monday, Dec. 31.
Admission buttons allow access to all First Night venues, entertainment, activities and free Metro bus rides to each location. Buttons are $10 and children under 10 are admitted free with a button-wearing adult.
