Acme & First Night® Akron Team Up For Family-Friendly Fun
Akron, Ohio - During the month of December, children ages 3-9 can make some noise while their
care givers shop in peace. If you bring a child to the Kids Corner at Acme #16 in North Canton or
Acme #17 in Stow, he or she can make a creation that will be part of the New Year's Eve fun at
First Night Akron 2009!
Create a Jingle Bell Bracelet to be used in the Lights and Beats in the Streets Procession to the
Mainstage at 8:30 p.m. before the Kids FirstMerit Fireworks show.
Celebrate diversity by creating a personal flower to add to the First Night Community Garden at
the Ocasek Government Office Building that will grow throughout the evening.
Acme Fresh Market provides free childcare while you shop at Kids Corner, on Monday-Saturday 9
a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
**Photo opportunities are available at the Kids Corner at Acme #16 and Acme #17. Please contact
Sue Guthier, Director of Consumer Marketing, (330) 733-2263 x55313 or
