Warren Miller SkiFest

Warren Miller Entertainment, the action sports filmmaking company, presents their new film Wintervention. The film takes you on a breathtaking global tour of some of the world’s most impressive terrain.
Ticket Information: All 15 Year button holders must bring their button to the Civic box office and receive a ticket for the event. This can be done prior to or on the night of the event.

First Night is a New Year’s Eve celebration unlike any other. This family-friendly, alcohol-free celebration of the arts showcases entertainment and fun for all ages featuring music, dance, theater, visual and interactive arts!
Ticket Information: Adults and children 10 and over must have a 15 Year Button or First Night Akron 2011 Button to attend, children under 10 do not need a button
Actual Ticket Value: $10 for adults and children 10 and over, children under 10 do not need a button when accompanying a button holding adult

Cabin Fever Tours on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad
11:35 a.m. from Northside Station, 27 Ridge St., Akron, 44308

Take a tour on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. Stay on the train for a 3 hour round trip or enjoy a layover in the historic village of Peninsula.

Festival of Nations

Free Admission to the Akron Art Museum

Ranging from American Impressionism to contemporary art, the museum showcases regional, national and international art created since 1850.
Ticket Information: Present your 15 Year Button for free gallery admission. Advanced ticket purchase not required.
Actual Ticket Value: $7 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, free for children under 12 with an adult
Restrictions: All backpacks, umbrellas and bulky items must be stored in lockers available in the coatroom.
Food and beverages may not be brought into the museum.
Oversized and jogging strollers are prohibited

Dance Through the Ages

Showcasing dance at all different levels of instruction, Martell School of Dance, The University of Akron Touring Ensemble and Verb Ballets will perform highlights from their repertoire. Admission to events at the Akron-Summit County Public Library is free.
